We don't normally ask for donations for our overhead costs. We try to keep those costs as low as possible. We try to make sure every amount donated goes directly to the work in Uganda. However, in order to do the work, we sometimes have to spend money on the not-so-fun stuff. We have several large expenditures coming up (website, legal fees, and brochures). If you believe in the work we are doing, would you be willing to give towards these items? Just donate from the website and make a note that it is for "overhead". Thank you so much! We are blessed to have so many wonderful people who believe in the work that we do.

Good News!

Good news! Research is showing that efforts to reduce the maternal mortality rate in Uganda are working. Providing prenatal education, giving women access to mama kits, and well-trained health care workers are making a difference. Mercy for Mamas is so excited to be a small part in this success. Our work is far from done, but we are so glad to know what we are doing is working. Be a part of the solution and join us in this work.

Weekend Outreach

Mercy for Mamas was thrilled to host an outreach over the weekend with our friends at the Nakalanda Project. This is video of our dear nurse Agnes having the ladies move around to keep their attention going during the teaching time. We hope it makes you smile. So glad we were able to provide them excellent teaching and much-needed birthing supplies.

Here are a few pictures from the event:
